Girls in Tech Nordics have together with NVIDIA organised our next exclusive event in Gothenburg!
Due to a minimal capacity, all places are already filled for this event. We look forward to having you join us at the next one!
On the 19th of October, Girls in Tech Nordics held an event with Tekniska Museet!

Our event was held in two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Due to a limited amount of space, we could only invite about 80 girls in total this time. The workshops were about programming, brainstorming a videogame, listening to a talk about becoming a woman at tech, and diversity with videogames.
April 1st, 2023, the World Culture Museum in Gothenburg will open an exhibition about games and gaming through the ages. As part of the exhibition, Tidsvåg, is hosting a science festival around the gaming industry and development. GiTN will participate as a guest speaker to talk about our work and the importance of diversity within Gaming.
Girls in Tech Nordics invites you to mingle and have an opportunity to “pay it forward – be the influence”.
Girls in Tech Nordics is about creating sustainable diversity in the workforce, by inspiring and motivating school girls in the fields of science, IT, mathematics, and engineering. Join us as we celebrate turning 1 as an NGO! Be inspired by the people who helped make this possible, share in their passion and experience, and understand how you can get involved to pay it forward. Our esteemed guests this evening represent members of academia, businesses, and culture across the Nordics. We look forward to seeing you there!
Near 20 female pupils from 6th grade were inspired by a diverse group of women female influencers leaders and professionals at tech who have followed different paths into the world of tech, and experienced exciting new tech such as the HoloLens for mixed reality and cleantech. The day started with a leadership keynote followed by a panel discussion with open questions. After that, the girls were divided into 2 groups and take turns joining learning activities hosted by Microsoft Technology Center and Cognite. Light lunches and refreshments were provided during the event.
